About Michael Pappas

Michael D Pappas MD is a pediatric critical care physician and general pediatrician. He is double board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both Pediatric Critical Care and General Pediatrics. He has over 20 years\' experience in pediatric critical care as well as general pediatrics. Mike is the medical director of CIC Pediatrics, Inc in Toledo, OH. He has hands on experience with business start-up, financials, social networking as well as computer software/hardware/networking and code. He’s also been involved with the development and planning of the use of telemedicine in underserved and hard to reach areas. He has a strong interest in the Native American population. He has a strong interest in education and teaching and has published 3 textbooks which are geared for the training of pediatric associated health professionals: Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Radiology Review and Pediatrics Boards: Review. Mike is actively involved in sports officiating. He has been a member of the OHSAA since and officiates both boys and girls varsity basketball contests.
