   Leadership Mosaics LLC is a new venture on paper—but more than three decades in the making.For over 30 years, I’ve been immersed in the study and practice of leadership—driven by a persistent question: What makes leadership truly effective, and how can people get better at it? Throughout that time, I explored countless frameworks, wrote extensively, and experimented with ideas. Yet, nothing fully satisfied me—until now.At last, I’m proud of what my colleagues and I have built. Leadership Mosaics offers a fresh, constructive, and engaging way to think about leadership, communicate its essence, and teach its practice. It’s not only practical and insightful—it’s fun, creative, and, yes, even entertaining.I bring a broad and unusual mix of skills to this work. My background spans deep mathematical and statistical expertise, along with a lifelong commitment to organizational effectiveness and leadership development. But leadership is where my heart lies. Few things influence people’s lives more profoundly than how leadership is exercised.Over the years, I’ve written seven business books focused on leadership and its many dimensions—each one examining how leaders shape organizations and the people within them. Even my four children’s books reflect this passion, weaving leadership-related themes into their stories: nurturing potential in The Most Beautiful Kite, the power of kindness in The Big Bad Word Monster, resilience and renewal in The Fairy Godmother Who Lost Her Touch, and generosity in The Raccoon Family That Lived in a Tree, Beside the Garden, in the Backyard.After years of reflection, research, and hands-on experience, I can say with confidence that our approach to assessing and improving leadership is both rigorous and real-world. It meets the moment—and the need.
