   Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Cowley Norberg Investments, (CNI) is a land acquisition/investment group whose principals are Mike Cowley, and Michael Norberg. CNI was formed to provide a select group of outside investors the opportunity to invest alongside a well-established family investment partnership. CNI’s approach to market investment is relatively unique among land investment vehicles as a “deal driven” firm as compared to most entities that are “capital driven” rendering CNI a more credible source of investment opportunities. CNI possesses no captive “land fund” seeking opportunities for investment, rather a team of experts actively works to identify opportunities that must be funded upon completion of a rigorous diligence process. The second unique component of the model is that CNI (and related entities) typically contribute up to 50% of the capital for each acquisition. Investors have found this to be an attractive partnership where the manager is also, one of, if not the largest investor.This model has proven quite credible and successful from inception and CNI continues to offer a limited number of investor’s opportunities to invest in raw land and similarly attractive real estate-related opportunities in the Southwestern United States.
