I currently run a team of engineers comprising some of the best individuals I\'ve ever worked with. Our core technologies are a multi-country Juniper MPLS network and an IP Fabric data center network (the latter of which I architected), as well as a multitude of customer solutions.I am a hands-on manager who keeps abreast of new technologies. I have kept my CCNP and multiple Juniper certifications active in my own time. This technical knowledge helps me to understand problems, allocate resource, bring teams together, and perform more complex tasks myself when required.*Architecting replacement of the core network. This included running the project from design, managing the retirement of the heritage network, and introducing a new IP Fabric network requiring multiple in-flight migrations which enjoyed a high degree of success.*Creation of new products- 99% of the \"Next Generation Firewall\" Palo Alto product set has come from my team, including supporting sales, templates and service definitions.*Team development. Creating an environment where engineers can grow to be \"the best of the best\". Developing a culture of being the team that everyone goes to when it gets difficult, and fixing the things that no one else can.*Achieving among the highest scores for team/manager satisfaction in internal staff surveys year on year since starting in 2021.*Supporting Sales with all things networking. This includes attending customer engagements with a focus on new sales and on rescuing accounts in danger of flight. My no-nonsense & honest approach has won the trust of a number of high net worth accounts.*Proud to have won multiple awards, including \"Newbie of the year - 2021\" and \"Unsung Heros November 2022\", alongside multiple public commendation in all-hands events. I contributed to the 2022 Financial report for Proact. In addition, my team have been recognized for achieving among the highest internal & customer recognition scores (\"Proact Points\") out of any team.
