Research and Pathfinding1. Thorough understanding in developing/maintaining electroplating processes to ease integration for dual-damascene and/or through silicon vias. Including how to monitor and control electroplating processes (thickness, particles, stress, resistivity, composition, uniformity across complex and varied structure etc.) and select materials.2. Collaborate with suppliers to develop new equipment necessary to exploit the understanding gained in research by identifying shortcomings, proposing, and evaluating hardware, material and chemical modifications to mitigate issues.
