ABOUT MICHAEL MUNZ
Michael has more than 30 years of experience in business and strategic investments, corporate strategy, business development and operations, government relations, and corporate communications. He began his career in Republican Party politics in 1987 and concluded his political and public affairs work as the Senior Policy Advisor to former Jacksonville Mayor John Delaney.He joined the private sector first as a vice president of the Dalton Agency, eventually becoming a shareholder and president of the integrated public relations and social media group, and today serves Dalton\'s executive management team consultant, where he continues to support the overall agency. As Chairman and CEO of Munz Family Holdings, Michael oversees his family investments in a variety of business sectors including through his private equity fund, Florida Innovation Capital.As a businessman and strategist, he has successfully led and advised both clients and his investment portfolio partners. Michael has experience in a wide array of areas including real estate (entitlement approvals, environmental matters, marketing), consumer and B2B marketing, transportation and logistics, mergers and acquisitions, manufacturing and distribution, development, hospitality, travel and tourism, healthcare, insurance and banking, litigation support, HR/IT, crisis communications, sports marketing, and early-stage startups.Michael serves on several corporate and non-profit boards. His philanthropic focuses include animal welfare; K-12 and higher education; arts & culture; homelessness; and, economic development, business development and mentoring.
