Operations and Depot responsibility for automotive(Suzuki GB), Food & Beverages(Ball Packaging) and Parcels contracts including budget, depot management & resources.Key Responsibilities & achievements:• Responsibility for successful transport and warehouses operations nationally for Suzuki GB, Ball Beverages(3PL) and promoted to take over Parcel distribution Operations in South Region.• Full P&L (approx. £4.8m) accountability for regional transport & warehouse operations including final mile and JIT operations.• Experienced user of SAP & SNAP as well as ESP & TMS transport management systems.• Accountable for all depots activities, compliance(transport audit passed on 90% March 2023) operational performance & financial objectives, maintaining excellent customer relationships, leading team of managers, supervisors, team leaders, warehouse and transport associates (+50), Van and HGV drivers, monitoring standards in accordance with service level agreements and all SHEQ related regulations passing recent depot health check on 96% at new site taken over 6 months ago(any evidence available upon request).• Managing customer and colleagues in line with compliance, discipline & safety standards both in the warehouse and on the road resulted in over 365 days with no accidents reported on Suzuki contract.• Key team member on start-up project of new warehouse including assisting with warehouse & transport operations set up & recruitment as a Business Leader in the region.• Awarded Menzies CEO WOW ‘Working together’ prize for excellent commitment in December 2021.• Created & led multiple improvements with staff engagement, leadership, H&S, KPI’s and cost-effective solutions including reducing agency usage by 30.5% in first 8 weeks of 2023 vs 2022.
