JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Promoted into the leading Finance position for the company’s largest market. Tasked with implementing a bottoms-up approach to the regional planning process. • Manage a staff of two which includes hiring, on-boarding and overseeing all staff training and development. • Work closely with and provide decision-making support to the Executive Team. • Permanent participating member of the Commercial Leadership Team. • Manage all planning, communications and financial reporting processes for the region. RESULTS: • Developed and implemented a forecasting process which improved the regions forecast accuracy by 20%, by doing this we were able to provide operations with a more accurate plan to assist in product production timelines. • Defined and wrote the job description for a new Finance Manager role. Hired the new manager and created the onboarding process as well as an orientation L&D curriculum. • Implemented controls around pricing, which included a collaborative and open dialogue to understand both quantitative and qualitative aspects of the pricing change. This process changed a decrease in customer discounts by 20% while maintaining volume. • Created chain and regional planning calendars which tracked commitments and activities to significantly improve visibility into how resources were managed and spent while reducing risk.
