Overseeing the delivery of the portfolio of projects and programmes within the Growth Highways and Infrastructure Department. This includes key corporate programmes on climate emergency/Net Zero, biodiversity and transport. I am the corporate programme lead for devolution and also head up, as SRO, the Council’s involvement in Sizewell C and other Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).

Strategic leader in local government with wide ranging experience of leading transformation and change. Currently working as Head of Programmes overseeing Suffolk\'s portfolio of key environmental, transport and infrastructure programmes, leading a team of project managers, and taking the corporate programme lead for the Suffolk and Norfolk devolution programme setting up a new mayoral authority.Expert in directing local authority engagement in the most complex Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), acting as SRO for Sizewell C and the other c18 Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) in Suffolk. Previous programme experiences include transforming standards in Suffolk’s schools (Raising the Bar), establishing and transferring functions to an innovative divested library service, and supporting the transformation of adult social care.My skills includes: Strategic leadership, portfolio management, directing and orchestrating large multi-disciplinary teams; lead liaison with multi-national developers including lead negotiator in securing a >£180m package of mitigations; masterminding transformation strategies and plans; being the linchpin between a programme and the political and senior leadership of the organisation; distilling highly complex matters into clear and simple messages; and managing multifaceted stakeholder networks. Recently completed MBA, with dissertation considering barriers and solutions to bring greater entrepreneurship into local government.
