About Michael Mirra
I am the current Branch Manager of Airgas in Reading, PA where I distribute and sell welding, industrial gases, and safety supplies. At Airgas I lead a team of 4 employees, where I manage two truck drivers and two inside sales representatives. I graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2015 where I was a member of the NCAA Division 1 wrestling team. I am very passionate about the sport of Wrestling and have been officiating the sport for 10 years. I enjoy working with teams and motivating others to be the best efficient version of themselves. I enjoy training new and current employees on company policies and processes. I enjoy teaching others new processes and obtaining feedback on their opinions and ideas they have for operational processes at the branch. I love finding new ways to penetrate new markets with the resources Airgas has to offer. I overlook the processes completed at the Reading branch and ensure we are working in safe environment to prevent injuries for employees and customers. Following directions and performing tasks as effective as possible is what keeps me motivated at work. I like to provide excellent customer service and help customers with any questions or products they need to do their job in the welding and gas industry. Motivating employees to perform there absolute best is a benefit to working in a management position. I love helping employees and customers overcome obstacles that may restrict them from performing their duties or making their duties more efficient. I am very active person who enjoys fitness and martial arts. I love studying nutrition and other forms of health & fitness in my free time.
