Responsible for acquisition and dissemination of mission critical data, news and documents which fuel the Bloomberg Terminal and Enterprise business initiatives. My group consists of 7 teams, totaling ~55 Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Team Leaders. We are responsible for such external products as. and Bloomberg\'s Data Upload Portal. We are also responsible for full cycle Web Acquisition, from data requirements, through site analysis, strategy development, acquisition and distribution to downstream systems and the Bloomberg Terminal. Our Software Engineers and Data Engineers ensure that Bloomberg maintains a constant, reliable and low latency pipe from the World Wide Web to our clients. As an Engineering leader, I take pride in participating in the mentorship of future leaders, playing an active role in recruiting efforts, and being a strong advocate for Diversity and Inclusion in our department.
