Ogborn Mihm LLP is a firm of experienced trial lawyers with offices in Denver, Los Angeles, and Souix Falls, South Dakota. Our legal malpractice clients tend to be companies and business people. We routinely work with in-house or outside counsel to evaluate legal malpractice claims. Our commercial and business tort cases often involve contract disputes, corporate control disputes among owners of closely-held companies, oil and gas litigation, real estate litigation, non-compete agreements, or issues of breach of fiduciary duty, self-dealing, theft of intellectual property, fraud, equity stripping, and other misdeeds. We also have significant personal injury and products liability practice. For example, in 2018 we obtained a $100 million settlement for a client arising out of a products liability claim against a helicopter manufacturer. Our trial lawyers represent clients in both state and federal courts throughout the United States. While we represent many clients on a traditional hourly fee basis, we also represent a significant number of our business and individual clients on a contingent fee basis and on hybrid or other alternative fee arrangements.
