Business professor and international development consultant with more than 20 years experience in emerging Latin American and Caribbean markets including teaching, research, and administrative experience at leading US and Latin America business schools. Frequent presenter on subjects of social marketing, social responsibility, social enterprise, and sustainability. Research and teaching reflect interests in various interdisciplinary fields which include social marketing and nonprofit marketing, social enterprise, and social responsibility. Published in both English and Spanish in books, book chapters, and articles in academic and professional journals and have presented in conferences in Latin America, United States, and Europe. Specialties: Practical action-based research for human capacity building and economic development. Research methodologies include exploratory, descriptive and quasi-experimental designs, and use both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative research uses single and multiple case studies, while quantitative research uses questionnaire design, data collection, and statistical analysis.
