WORK HISTORY
Partner @Saul Ewing LLP
I represent clients in construction-related litigation and disputes and counsel them on construction law matters. My practice also focuses on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulatory compliance and citation defense for construction and industrial clients. In representing general contractors, subcontractors, owners, designers, and suppliers on private, public, and federal projects, I cover most types of construction disputes: delay and inefficiency claims, design and construction defects, unforeseen site conditions, project scope disputes, bid protests, and payment claims, including mechanics liens, bond claims, and Miller Act claims. I handle all phases of litigation in both federal and state court and alternative dispute resolution forums, with first chair experience in trials, arbitrations, and OSHA citation contest hearings. My work begins with pre-litigation counseling and case assessment and I stay with matters through their final resolution, whether by mediation or settlement, trial or arbitration, or appeal. Drawing on my litigation experience, I counsel clients in real-time on business issues that arise on ongoing projects, such as contractual disputes, compliance, and claims. On OSHA matters, I routinely help clients defend against citations, address regulatory compliance issues, and respond to regulatory enforcement investigations and demands for corrective action. Construction industry clients also turn to me to draft, review, and negotiate a range of construction and commercial contracts, including general contractor and subcontractor agreements, master service agreements, and supplier/vendor purchase orders.
