   Hand-picked to turn around a high-profile store located near home office that had the worst performance metrics in the company. This store had not met its sales goals or operational targets in at least 5 years and suffered from ineffective leadership, very low morale, no customer service standards, and an overall lack of training and structure. Immediately implemented a successful retraining program with higher performance standards. Oversee a 7-member management team (2 assistant store manager, 5 department managers). Drove the store’s overall performance ranking from 1400th to 400th in the country in 3 months Store went from 10th in the district to 3rd overall by October 2013. In the first 3 months in this location I was able to deliver +2.3% over LY. I did this through creating an action plan, retraining associate & management team, hiring, increasing product inventory, increasing store standards & presentation, focus on customer service with highly engaged associates, created a sales culture that increased dollars per transaction and lowered shrink. Being the home office store, I have hosted many successful store visits from our Company Executives. I feel privileged to be able to share successes and opportunities from a store perspective with our executive leadership team. Lead a team for multiple store remodel projects in the region as well as opening a new location.
