I currently work as an international Captain for American Airlines, where I have a type rating in the MD-80, the and the A-320. After graduating from Virgina Tech in 1982, I joined the USMC and served as a fighter pilot for 10 years flying the F-4 and the F-18. In 1992, I left the USMC and was hired by American Airlines. Since 2008, I have also served as a consultant for Marstel-Day. In this capacity I investigate encroachment of military installations, particularly regarding airspace and frequency spectrum issues.
