Recently completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of South Florida over 15 years’ experience in health emergencies, international humanitarian response, development, and resilience covering over 20 countries on five continents - I have led large-scale, complex humanitarian action in some of the most notable crises of the past decade. Response leadership experiences include: West Africa Ebola outbreak (2015), DRC Ebola outbreak 2018, Rohingya refugee response, Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and large conflicts such as Yemen, Iraq (Mosul), C.A.R and South Sudan, among many others. Some of Michael’s niche strengths lie outbreak preparedness planning, consortium management, agency representation/lobbying, project management, operational systems strengthening, strategic planning, and program quality assurance
