ABOUT MICHAEL MASSAD
A 2014 graduate with honors in Political Science from Carleton College, I\'ve always been passionate about making a positive change in the world, with particular focuses on the environment and education. My time since graduating has been spent primarily on the latter in many capacities. Having worked in the world of college access and admissions for five years, I chose to return to school. In May 2021, I graduated with my M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration (Enrollment Management track) at Vanderbilt\'s Peabody College. During my time in graduate school, I worked in Peabody\'s Admissions Office and Vanderbilt\'s Office of Undergraduate Admissions.Since finishing the masters program, I have been working at the University of Minnesota\'s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, first as the Admissions Program Manager for two years and since then as the Director of Admissions. In that time I also continued taking classes, completing a graduate certificate at the Carlson School of Management.
