Mike Mascia is Co-Head of the Fund Finance division of EverBank, N.A, where the team provides Subscription Facilities, NAV lines, Hybrids, GP Facilities and other financing, advisory and placement solutions to the private capital community. Mike was previously Chair of the Finance Practice Group at Cadwalader and a member of the Firm\'s Management Committee. At Cadwalader, he led the Firm\'s Fund Finance group and built a 75+ lawyer practice representing banks and lenders in facilities to private equity funds sponsored by virtually all of the world’s preeminent fund sponsors. He is the founder of the Global Fund Finance Symposium, now in its 13th year. He is a co-founder of the Fund Finance Association, and currently serves as an officer and board member. He is the Contributing Editor of 5 editions of Fund Finance 20••••21, a Fund Finance legal treatise published by Global Legal Group. He is the founder and former contributing editor of fundfinancefriday.com, the industry’s leading weekly market update and legal newsletter. Mike also founded and chairs the annual Fund Finance University training conferences. Mike, along with his wife Maria, have founded the Mascia Family Banking Scholarships at UNC School of Law, which provides scholarship assistance to members of the law school\'s Banking Institute. They also founded the Mike and Maria Mascia Scholarship Fund at UNC, which provides academic scholarships to outstanding scholars of Latina background. They also support and contribute to a variety of non-profit initiatives that focus on upward mobility, education, animal welfare, breast cancer and an appreciation for entrepreneurship and capitalism.
