ABOUT MICHAEL LYNDS
My passion for financial services broadly stems from my desire to help people from all backgrounds build financial security and independence so they can live their best lives. Fast forward 25 years and this passion remains. As Chief Revenue Officer at Picton Mahoney Asset Management, I also head Second engine™ (a distinct division of Picton Mahoney) and focus on bringing the very brightest in alternative thinking to work for wealth professionals. Whether delivering products, consulting, research, or digital services, it’s all about enhancing a wealth advisor’s ability to serve their investor clients. Balancing my asset management, wealth services, investment consulting, and fintech experiences, I seek to transform fresh thinking into revenue driving outcomes. When I am not working, I stay active through regular exercise including water sports and cycling. I have cycled across the Swiss Alps, the seven mountain passes in the Dolomites in Italy to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, as well as to Halifax from Oakville to raise money for the Wellspring foundation – these have been key highlights in my life.
