Responsible for- Group Environment strategy development and implementation, including net zero targets, transition planning and removals strategy through nature-based solutions - Supporting our approach to ESG and collaboration with key stakeholders - Internal and external performance reporting and data management - Supporting governance and assurance on related elements of the Serco Management System, reporting performance into C-suite and relevant boards and committees - Providing business intelligence from a marketing and business development viewpoint across multiple sectors, markets and geographies - Responding to and improving upon ESG ratings, benchmarking and investor questionnaires / scoring - Reporting on performance to meet various stakeholder and legal requirements using globally recognised frameworks such as GRI, CDP and the Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures - Programme management of complex projects supported by global stakeholders - Delivery of strategic and practical support to divisions, business units, contracts and functions on ESG matters - Support ongoing development of environmental performance data management systems - Directly managing a team and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions - Contributing to the company culture, driving positive behaviours through awareness, multiple communication programmes, oversight groups, committees and wider initiatives - Fostering leadership on sustainability by increasing training and competence - Being a key contributor in the development and success of the business whilst assisting our people, clients, communities and wider stakeholders address the escalating climate and environmental emergencies - Developing relationships with wider stakeholders including investors, industry groups, environmental organisations, charities and community groups - Supporting implementation of our sustainable procurement charter and working across value chain
