ABOUT MICHAEL LOGGIE

Michael Loggie is currently a Technical Superintendent within Noble Drilling supporting the Noble Innovator, Noble Intrepid & Noble Resilient. As part of his previous lines of work, Loggie was an Assistant Rig Manager with Maersk Drilling supporting the Maersk Innovator & Maersk Highlander. Loggie achieved this position after several months as a Technical Superintendent & previously an Assistant Technical Superintendent with Maersk Drilling. His work requires him to provide onshore support to the Maersk Gallant & Maersk Resilient and assisting them in reactivating for future work. His previous roles required him to travel on both short and long notice periods around the Maersk Drilling Jack-up fleet, spanning from the North Sea (UK, Norwegian, Danish & Dutch) to the Far East. He completed a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with Materials at the University of Aberdeen and graduated in July 2014. Loggie is very open to the idea of moving around to different areas of the world wherever the opportunity may arise. This includes both office based work and offshore based work. Loggie is very computer and technology minded. He is a quick learner and is comfortable adapting to any working environment. He is able to communicate well with good organisational skills as well as being a good leader with an excellent capability to working in a team. Both in and outside of working life, Loggie makes the effort to be safety orientated and demonstrates this consistently. Since beginning his post-university career path, he has demonstrated an eagerness to search and invest time into innovative ideas in order to assist with his personal life as well as professional. Loggie also believes in the search for new talent and thrives on assisting newcomers to the Oil & Gas Industry.
