I lead a team of analysts and investment management professionals that manage a >$100bn portfolio for Allianz Life Insurance Company. My focus is on private credit including commercial real estate loans (CMLs), residential mortgage loans (RMLs), private placements, and structured investments. I oversee analysts that cover public corporate credit, EM debt, structured investments, residential mortgage loans, private credit, CLOs and asset backed securities. I lead our regulatory efforts within investment management and our pledging process with the FHLB.Previously, I led teams that managed investment risk at Allianz including leading credit risk modeling, reporting, and reinsurance transactions. I also worked for GE Capital as a Vice President of Business Development selling financing for commercial leasing programs and related services. Before working in business development, I spent over five years doing commercial underwriting for an alternative asset platform at GE underwriting mid-market commercial credits, doing credit underwriting and monitoring, and reporting on portfolio risk for a ~$10bn global portfolio.Specialties: Investment management, investment risk management, commercial mortgage loans, insurance regulation, private placements, and asset backed securities analysis and asset management.
