Oversee payroll staffing, workload distribution, and team development to ensure scalable and compliant operations. Ensure accurate configuration and processing within Workday and UKG, including time, earnings, commissions, benefits, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other payroll components. Lead strategic process improvements across Workday and UKG to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Partner closely with Human Resources and Finance to develop, communicate, and implement payroll-related policies. Support system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex payroll and tax issues. Oversee internal and external payroll audits, ensuring timely payroll journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain and strengthen a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant control environment. Deliver payroll excellence by blending technical system expertise with people-centered leadership.
