I am on the Labor and Employment, and Equal Opportunity and Employment Investigations Teams. Since 2015, I have represented County departments (e.g. Sheriff\'s Office, Department of Correction, District Attorney\'s Office, Probation, DCSS, FAF, Procurement, Custody Health, Planning, etc.) in all aspects of labor and employment law, including handling contested discipline termination appeal hearings (for sworn peace officers and non-sworn employees) before the Personnel Board and private arbitrators; litigation in state and federal courts; wage and hour claims before the California Labor Commissioner; Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) unfair practice charges; contested Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board hearings; and EEOC/DFEH investigations into discrimination/harassment/retaliation claims.
