ABOUT MICHAEL LEEMAN

I’m an IT Operations Manager and embedded Security Operations professional with a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise, cybersecurity experience, and people-focused leadership. Over the last five years I’ve progressed from frontline IT support to leading endpoint security, infrastructure, incident response, and daily operations across multiple healthcare facilities.Today, my work sits at the intersection of IT operations and security operations. I manage environments using tools like Huntress EDR, Microsoft Defender, NAC, MDM, and cloud identity platforms while responding to real-world threats, investigating alerts, and improving the security posture of a highly regulated healthcare organization. I regularly perform triage, root-cause analysis, malware investigations, access reviews, and security hardening across 500+ endpoints.I’m currently completing my Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance, and I hold industry certifications including A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, SSCP, and more on the way. My goal is to transition fully into a dedicated Security Operations role where I can apply my technical background, incident response experience, and passion for defending organizations against evolving threats.At my core, I care about building secure, stable, user-friendly systems, and helping people.
