About Michael Clair

I’m a senior at the University of Tennessee, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting and a collateral in finance. My competitive drive pushes me to be the best in every challenge I take on. Whether in academics, internships, or work experiences, I strive to perfect processes and deliver high-quality results. I’ve gained experience across multiple areas of financial services, starting with a finance internship in Tampa, where I developed insights into investment strategies and client relations. I then worked at a State Farm agency in Nashville, strengthening my communication and sales skills through telemarketing. Most recently, I completed an intensive audit internship in Knoxville, where I sharpened my analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of financial reporting. My passion lies in helping people navigate their finances and plan for a secure future. With plans to pursue a master’s degree in accounting and obtain my CPA designation, I am eager to expand my expertise in accounting, financial planning, and wealth management. Outside of academics and work, I believe in giving back to the community. Volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank has reinforced my appreciation for service and the impact that financial planning and stability can have on individuals and families.
