I advise domestic and international clients in the telecommunications industry on transactional and regulatory matters and represents them before the Federal Communications Commission (the FCC) and state and local regulatory bodies. I represent mobile and fixed service providers of broadband and narrowband services delivered over landline and cable networks, terrestrial wireless systems, satellites and the Internet. My experience includes: FCC regulations applicable to wireless providers, wireline carriers, cable telephone providers and broadcasters; major telecommunications acquisitions involving antitrust implications before the FCC and the Department of Justice; and participating in distant signal copyright royalty proceedings. I handle a wide range of legal matters for telecommunications companies, including general counseling on federal regulatory issues, regulatory policy advocacy at the FCC and on Capitol Hill, spectrum auction advice, communications-related litigation before the FCC, federal courts, state courts and state public utility commissions, international telecommunications ventures, and a wide range of other transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equipment contracts, debt and equity placements, intercarrier arrangements and interconnection agreements.
