Overall program management of over 600 vehicles in the RD fleet and a $2.5 million budget according to all Federal regulations. Responsible for providing guidance to internal/external customers for vehicle management, policy formulation, training from design to delivery and quality customer service.Led Fleet Optimization project to reduce vehicle inventory by over 100 vehicles resulting in a cost savings of $325k annually in taxpayers money.Created Expense Report and tracked a $2.4 million dollar budget and a breakdown of specific costs for agency leased vehicles supporting the agency through process improvement and efficiency supplying a quick reference to overall costs breakdown for entire year.Creates, updates and maintains fleet budget reports pulling together data for analysis for leadership and other agency requests. Oversees compilation of budget information and materials used for presentations to senior leadership and budget personnel. Reviews, evaluates, and critiques contributions for required reports to ensure information correctly reflects Agency and/or program policy. Assists in establishing and developing fleet policies, plans and objectives. Selected lead the Electric Vehicle transition and acquisition as the primary point of contact for the entire Rural Development fleet of more than 600+ vehicles.Member of the USDA Veteran Employee Organization (VEO) and leads the VEO Outreach Committee providing information on veteran needs, support and agency specific to veterans across the organization and to external organizations.
