About Michael L Hamman

As a mechanical engineer with a passion for devising innovative solutions, I enjoy taking on challenging projects and troubleshooting complex problems.My background includes project management, project engineering, mechanical design roles at Oilgear, Rockwell Automation, and Norco Manufacturing in Wisconsin and at the National Park Service in Alaska. While concurrently completing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, I facilitated a Fluid Mechanics Laboratory course, assisted in teaching two other mechanical engineering courses, and participated in materials research at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In each of my engineering opportunities I have made contributions improving the engineering process or product quality.The combined expertise I gained from practical experience, teaching, and continued education not only strengthened my engineering skills base, but grew my ability to perceive “big picture” circumstances in creating solutions that are more efficient, economical, and sustainable.
