About Michael Cottone
On March 1, 2023 I was appointed President of Volvo Cars USA and Canada after more than 21 years with the Volvo Cars organization. Prior to this, I served as Regional Vice President of Volvo Car USA’s Western Region where I managed the sales, marketing, customer service, and network development across 22 states. My home base for the last several years has been in California, where Volvo Cars has accelerated its U.S-based electrification strategy in alignment with our ambitious goals to launch a new EV every year through 2030. Over my time with Volvo Cars, I’ve held various corporate, regional and international positions that have allowed me to work closely with and understand the needs of our retailer partners, as well as with our colleagues in Sweden and around the globe. Volvo Cars is on an exciting journey with big plans for the next several years. I am excited to be working closely with the best talent in the industry to drive this change forward as we enter a new era of safety and sustainability for Volvo Cars.
