About Michael Kohs

I am passionate about data and its potential to answer questions we have never asked ourselves before. I enjoy working on all the challenges that organizations face once they decide to become more data-driven. I thrive in complex custormer environments, getting hands-on with technology and demostrating how it can solve a business problem. I have experience in designing Enterprise IT Infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Network) and holistic data management solutions (ETL, Data Quality, Cloud Integration). I am also an experienced public speaker and have presented at conferences such as Microsoft TechEd EMEA, HP Discover, Informatica World Tour, the OOP Hadoop Forum and many others.In my current role I am focusing on helping organizations to create business value based on the Hadoop ecosystem and its technologies.
