Passionate about building complex algorithms to solve big business problems. Former VP Quantitative Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, PhD in Theoretical Physics from Oxford University.My fascination with very complex and abstract problems started at university, when I was discovering how mathematics can be used to understand the world around us. I took this fascination with me when I transitioned into the investment banking industry, working on complex derivatives products, as VP Quantitative Analyst in the foreign exchange and credit markets.The urge to build something from scratch made me join an analytics startup as Principal Researcher and learn about the analytics challenges companies face today. During this time I realized that companies need a different approach for metrics reasoning, with focus on truly understanding the causes, rather than designing more and more elaborate predictions. That\'s why I\'ve founded Kausa as Chief Science Officer. Our mission is to empower everyone to better act upon KPI changes.
