Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization driven to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. The Sports Buddies program within provides matches (Littles and their Bigs) with agency-supervised and organized activities designed to facilitate match relationship-building, create fun memories and encourage active lifestyles. Michael has been very familiar with and its Sports Buddies program since 2012, when his recreation organization, Six Pack Sports, began running regular fundraisers for the program. With many Bigs within Six Pack Sports, was the fitting beneficiary of Six Pack\'s Million Vertical Feet and Incline fundraisers. The fundraisers have fully funded six annual Sports Buddies Ski Days as well as the annual Adventure Course Day. Michael has long admired the work of the Sports Buddies program and got the opportunity to join the Sports Buddies staff full-time in March 2018. Since then, he\'s thrived in creating and supporting the matches, as well as planning and running weekly Sports Buddies activities, sports and events. He was honored with the 2020 Agency Impact Award for his exceptional efforts and value to And he\'s still directing Six Pack Sports- all its year-round leagues, events and fundraisers.
