Manages the overall day-to-day operations of administering Federal and State aid, work-study programs with multiple on-campus and off-campus community projects. Other responsibilities include:• Supervises and monitors the processing, verification, packaging, and first day of class disbursement of Federal funds.• Laisses with Federal and State Agencies, as well as accreditation agencies.• Prepares and recommends annual financial aid strategies to best utilize scholarships and endowments to meet institution’s net revenue and populations goals.• Maintains zero default rate, by driving Financial Literacy Programs; presenting workshops to students, parents and staff.• Prepares and regularly present departmental budgets and analysis for both the senior leadership and Board of Trustees.• Partners with admissions teams and attends recruiting events countrywide and local initiatives.• Participates orientation programs, counseling and outreach initiatives for students and families.• Fosters a customer service approach, through personalize service, which has led to increased retention and graduation rates.• Delivers FAFSA workshop for high school students and parents, on and off site.• Counsels students and their families about financial aid options, including scholarships.
