About Michael Killmer

As the Regional Manager - Midwest, for Samson & Surrey, I focus on introducing and launching brands, driving sales revenue, partnering with distributors, and penetrating markets for hand-picked, small-batch spirits, including Few, Blue Coat Gin, and Window Jane. Recognized as a collaborative partner, I am forward-thinking, understanding, and concentrate on client satisfaction, revenue growth, and brand identity throughout all stages of a sales cycle. Since 2019, I have increased sales by 34% through securing icon accounts and building brands at the Drake Hotel, Palmer House Hilton, Lou Malnati\'s, Alinea, and Eataly. Notably, I designed a non-partisan election night promotion with the Few American brands that sold 22 cases - a significant increase. One of my favorite parts of my job is as a coach and mentor for two sales representatives who cover seven states. I enjoy supporting sales initiatives while participating in distributor meetings and management, pricing programs, account management, and designing events and promotions. Before joining Samson & Surrey, I served as the National Brand Manager for Templeton Rye Spirits, LLC. As the first employee of the \"speakeasy-style\" whiskey, I helped launch the brand and played an integral role in branding, identity, sales growth, go-to-market, and even helped design the tasting room and wearables. Now a national brand, I supported the growth from a start-up to establishing a presence across the US. It\'s now in multiple states, carried by a hefty network of distributors, and in 330 airports. A relationship cultivator, listener, presenter, negotiator, and closer with earned credibility and mutual respect, I can\'t wait to see where my career takes me.When I am not working, I love traveling with my wife, all things culinary, and of course, enjoying a craft cocktail from one of the boutique spirits I represent.
