About Michael Johnston
Dedicated packaging engineer with experience in protective packaging distribution testing, SBS integrity testing, SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, TOPS Pro, and problem-solving. I am currently a medical device packaging engineer for MicroAire Surgical Instruments. I primarily work with large electrical med devices and single use, sterile devices. My area of experience is package testing, CAD, and packaging for distribution. I am currently working on automating the packaging of several product lines in my Class VII cleanroom.I am also a member of KiiP and I plan speak at trade shows and conferences to share my story.

Performed Design Validation testing on packaging (visual inspection, bubble leak, bubble emission, seal strength, environmental conditioning, accelerated aging). Researched and implemented packaging automation for increased productivity and ease of packaging.
