The Division supports the development of innovation by building on specific strengths in private and public sector research bases in order to deliver commercial outcomes for Northern Ireland industry. Prior to his appointment as Innovation Adviser, Michael was Head of Business Sales with NTR Broadband, now part of the large Imagine Communications Group. In this role he had responsibility for managing the development of NTR Broadband’s customer base as well as introducing new technologies and developing marketing plans to assist with the commercialisation of the entire product portfolio. Michael has substantial experience of sales and marketing at a strategic level, specifically in new emerging technologies across a number of sectors.
