I have been in marketing and product management since December overseeing various product lines such as molecular raw materials, cell culture media, protein expression reagents, transfection reagents, qPCR and PCR reagents and instruments, gel electrophoresis reagents and equipment, nucleic acid purification kits, and robotic pipette tips and reservoirs.My responsibilities include strategic marketing planning, new product development, technical support, product training, marketing collateral and communications, market analysis, forecasting, and managing product launches.Before product marketing, I was a Research Scientist at Colorado State University’s Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, managing PCR assay development and testing. I also worked in a biosafety level 3 lab testing anti-tuberculosis drugs for the NIH.I hold Bachelor\'s and Master\'s degrees in Microbiology and an MBA focused on global business management.

Currently, I am the senior product manager for MilliporeSigma’s molecular raw materials portfolios including lysis and detection reagents, proteinase K solutions, and other large volume molecular biology products. My global responsibilities include new product development, commercial training, market analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and cradle-to-grave product lifecycle management. These responsibilities include both branded Merck/Millipore/Sigma products as well as supporting diagnostics and clinical customers as an OEM supplier.
