Manages business risk and compliance processes, the interface with internal audit and the provision of insurance services. Core responsibilities include: Develop, embed and enhance the internal control and assurance, and risk management frameworks across the business. Support the business in maintaining and enhancing their risk matrices and registers and other tools used to manage risks. Manage the interface with the outsourced internal audit service provider including delivery of the annual internal audit plan. Manage the Group\'s approach to ethics and conduct including anti-bribery & corruption management, GDPR, conflicts of interest, sanctions etc. across the Group. Responsibility for the procurement and management of the Group’s operational and corporate insurance arrangements. Support the maintenance of effective business continuity and disaster recovery facilities, organisation and procedures. Support the maintenance of the Capricorn Business Management System. Chairman of the Capricorn Charities Committee. Membership of Risk Management Committee, Contracts Committee, Charities Committee and Crisis and Emergency Response Team. Attendance at Audit Committee and Management Team.
