National Engineering Compliance Manager @Nuclear Transport Solutions

Ensure the safe operation of all elements of the Engineering & Strategic Asset Management (E & SAM) function, through guidance, support, and coaching to Engineering & Facilities Managers. Ensure compliance with UK / EU legislation and company standards, as defined under the Safety Management System (SMS), implementing best practice and continuous improvement. Act as lead point of contact for the Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) team on matters of occupational health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental compliance for the E & SAM function. Act as lead point of contact for the Security and Resilience (SAR) team on matters of security, resilience & compliance for the E & SAM function. In conjunction with the SAR team, design and implement a SAR strategy for the E & SAM function. In conjunction with the HSEQ team, design and implement a HSEQ strategy for the E & SAM function. Liaise with and continually update the HSEQ department on findings and trends, keep overall knowledge of company HSEQ policy refreshed by regular meetings, and ensure full alignment with HSEQ policies and culture within the E & SAM function. Support the Head of Health & Safety and HoE & SAM in implementing agreed improvement plans to deliver the HSEQ strategy. Act as the main interface between Engineering and HSEQ in the development, introduction, training and coaching of company standards to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees and other people affected by DRS. Conduct monthly and annual reviews and audits into compliance against occupational health, safety, wellbeing and environmental standards. Provide daily support & guidance to the E & SAM management team. Oversee the assessment cycle of employees, including forward planning, data integrity and robust Competence Development Plans.
