My grandfather had the biggest influence on my life. As a business owner, he worked with unions his entire life. He said you attract more with honey than with vinegar. He showed me that not everything is black and white. Both sides need to feel like they won and left a little bit still on the table. I started leasing apartments a million years ago. After college, I was a bit lost and didn\'t know what I wanted to do. At first, it was a means to an end to pay my bills, but I quickly fell in love with Property Management. And I was good at it. In the beginning, I was very black and white. I never worked in the gray. Today, I’m much more tolerant and I’m a better person for it. I thrive in environments where there is a daily challenge and Property Management definitely delivers! I like to think out a problem before I act on it so I begin by creating a plan then executing the plan. I have a knack for seeing what\'s coming down the road. I’m proud of reaching the top of my profession when I took ownership of my management company.I enjoy telling a relatable story. My personality really shines if I like an individual. Getting there is the hard part. I’m a Multifamily Vice President of Operations and CPM Candidate with 20+ years of experience leading teams of regional managers and up to 300 staff. Managed a $1B portfolio of multifamily residential properties over 10 states. Managed a portfolio of 3,500 multifamily units. Managed a $1B portfolio of multifamily residential and commercial assets. Increased and sustained portfolio occupancy above 97% while keeping delinquency below 2%.Co-workers say that I’m Kind, Honest, and Fair. Friends and family say on some days that I’m \"one of the best people they know\" and on other days I’m “a bit of a challenge.”I have a passion for traveling and being open to new adventures.
