   Leads a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering immigrant communities and serving clients with compassion. Builds strategic partnerships and advocates to improve community well-being and advance social justice.CISC is proud to serve immigrants who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Vietnamese, Spanish, Ukrainian, and more. We provide services at our offices in Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, and Redmond, as well as at numerous community-based sites. Each year, our dedicated team improves the health and well-being of more than individuals—including families, youth, and seniors.With a team of over 140 bilingual staff, we respond to community needs by:Enabling older adults to thrive: We support thousands of seniors across King County by connecting them with caregivers and specialists. Our culturally relevant activities in the community help reduce social isolation and promote wellness.Creating opportunities: We support the next generation through preschool, early learning home visiting, after-school, and summer learning programs.Strengthening individuals and families: Through workshops and programs, we offer support, skill-building, and connection. We help families navigate public programs related to housing, financial stability, healthcare, and more to improve their quality of life.Supporting survivors: In response to rising anti-Asian hate, we launched an Anti-Bias/Anti-Hate team in 2020. Our bilingual staff collect incident reports and provide trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically appropriate support. We are part of The Asian American Foundation’s anti-hate and safety network.
