Working on London Underground Projects specifically SSR Package 5B, primarily at Mile End Substation and several other satellite sites throughout London- Leading the upgrade and installation of a multi panel 11KV ABB Unigear Board, an extensive 22KV ABB ZX2 Panel Board, PB Designs Battery charging systems, several RTU systems and LVAC systems- Undertaking the jointing and terminating of cables associated with new HV panels- Coordinating all contractors / sub-contractors during works undertaken on sites- Organising and preparing sites prior to the commencement of work, eliminating potential programme delays- Planning work phases, monitoring progress performing safety checks and overseeing the delivery of materials on site- Ensuring that work is accurately completed in accordance with the latest technical drawings- Communicating management decisions with engineers and operatives through regular meetings- Managing all aspects of Health and Safety, holding toolbox talks and inductions when required- We achieved a London Underground Beacon Site Award for excellent H&S performance and also a nationwide H&S Award from ABB- Ensuring a sufficient labour resource on-site to complete works without straining labour forecasts or targets- QA all tradesmen work in a systematic way to ensure the finest quality is maintained at all times.
