Following early career service with the U.S. Coast Guard-where I ultimately held accountability for regional operations while leading hundreds of staff-I transitioned to the private sector and leveraged my skills in operations, project, and team leadership within a national architect-engineering firm. I then moved on to higher education as the Associate VP of Operations with the University of the Southern Maine, where I continued to refine my program planning and management, and internal/external relationship management. Today, I serve as a Senior Program Manager for The Awesome Group, LLC, supporting infrastructure asset management, and strategic planning for NOAA and the US Coast Guard civil engineering and facility management programs. My experience is backed by a Master of Public Administration degree from California State University Long Beach, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, advanced training in executive leadership and logistics, a PMP designation and registration as a professional engineer.Specialties include: Leadership, program management, operations management, project management, public speaking, developing and maintaining client relationships, civil engineering, and facility management.
