I have more than 30 years of experience offering advice and guidance on complex wealth management issues to a select number of high-net-worth families, business owners, entrepreneurs and corporate executives. I have particular experience in offering guidance on the personal and financial impact that liquidity events can have on the lives of entrepreneurs and business owners. My focus is on helping clients simplify their overall financial lives and designing goals-based financial strategies to help them pursue their short- and long-term investment objectives through a variety of market environments. My team delivers this customized wealth management experience through the boutique-like environment that exists within the Merrill Private Wealth Management Group. I joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2002 after eight years as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in Chicago. Earlier in my career, I worked in the real estate development division of JMB Realty Corporation. I am a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, and I earned an MBA degree in Finance at Northwestern University. My wife, Alison, and I have two daughters and two sons and live in Scottsdale, Arizona.
