ABOUT MICHAEL HOPE
Michael D. Hope, MD, is a Professor in Residence and Vice-Chair in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at UCSF. He is Chief of Radiology at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. He obtained his medical degree from Stanford in 2004. The following year, he did a Medicine internship at California Pacific Medical Center. Dr. Hope completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at UCSF in 2009, followed by a fellowship in Cardiopulmonary Imaging. He is recognized as an expert in advanced cardiovascular imaging techniques with over 65 invited lectures and 105 peer-reviewed papers, which have been cited over times.Dr. Hope was awarded an R01 grant in 2015 entitled,\"Hemodynamic and inflammatory imaging in evaluation of abdominal aortic aneurysms\"(R01HL123759). His long-term goal is to expand significantly the role of MR vessel and blood flow imaging in the clinical management of patients with cardiovascular disease. & hl=en & oi=ao
