The documentary \"Red Whiteville and Blue\" premiered at Full Frame in April 2024 and will be widely distributed summer 2024.\"Kill Chain: The Cyber War on America\'s Elections\" premiered on HBO in March 2020.\"Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee\" premiered at Toronto to universal acclaim before airing on Showtime. Ish won an Emmy in 2015 for an MTV documentary,\"Laverne Cox presents: The T Word,\" on the struggles of trans youth.\"This Week at the Comedy Cellar\" has aired for three seasons on Comedy Central.Previously, Hirschorn headed programming at VH1, where he doubled ratings, contributing to a tripling in revenue for the network. Additionally, he was EP of the Lionsgate theatrical \"The U.S. Versus John Lennon.\" A former journalist and magazine editor (New York Magazine, Esquire, Spin), he has explored the revolutionary impact of digital media at the Atlantic Monthly as well as writing for New York Magazine, Vanity Fair and The New York Times. Columns suggested futures for print media, television, and music, and he was widely excoriated in 2009 for painting a doom-and-gloom picture of the future of the New York Times that now is considered conventional wisdom and served as inspiration of the theatrical documentary \"Page One\".Hirschorn is a founder of The People, a PAC and non-profit that uses video and digital targeting to promote democratic values in the United States. Its Statehouse Initiative was crucial in the remarkable success of Democratic state house and state senate candidates around the country in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
