About Michael Henderson

Working as a construction safety manager has been a fulfilling and enlightening experience. My role involves overseeing safety protocols on construction sites to ensure the well-being of all workers. Throughout my journey, I have encountered various challenges and successes that have shaped my understanding of safety management in the construction industry. I have worked in oil and gas, Environmental, retrofits, and more. One of my primary responsibilities as a safety manager is to develop and implement safety policies and procedures. This involves not only adhering to local laws and regulations but also creating a culture of safety that encourages workers to prioritize their own well-being. My experiences have underscored the importance of training, communication, and technological integration in maintaining a safe work environment. As I move forward in my career, I remain committed to fostering safety in construction, ensuring that every worker returns home safely at the end of the day.I am currently working on obtaining my CHST. I hold the following certifications, in addition to my over 15 years of experience. NCCER Core Curriculum. Nccer Field safety, Safety Technology, CSST, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500.
