ABOUT MICHAEL HEATON

Global business leader for Evoqua’s Electocatalytic business responsible for sales, operations and global P&L performance based in our offices in Caldicot, South Wales. Also a qualified FCA accountant having previously served as Finance Director for Evoqua U.K. Evoqua Water Technologies delivers products, solutions and services to ensure water quality and consistency for municipalities, industrial water users and recreational facilities. With more than a 100-year heritage of industry-leading brands and products, technical expertise, and unmatched customer service, Evoqua is the partner of choice for millions of water users across the globe.Through several roles at Evoqua I have helped position the business for growth and supported considerable organisational changes. I work closely with both the front end of the business supporting sales and applications, delivering on our commitments to customers as well as execution and back office departments. I enjoy working with the talented sales, operation and finance am colleagues driving growth, efficiency, profitability and change agendas. In my previous role as a Controller for several offshore wind farms I prepared financial reports for submission to Group and our joint venture partners. I have also been involved in financial due diligence audits as part of the transactions to sell parts of the business.My background is as an audit trainee and senior at both Grant Thornton UK and BDO LLP based in Cardiff and Bristol. Within these roles I gained experience in a variety of sectors dealing with clients ranging from small owner managed businesses to larger AIM and fully listed clients. I reported under UK GAAP and IFRS with clients ranging from small businesses to large groups and MNC\'s.
